The first day back to work in nine days is always fun. More so when you're sleepless (though some things are worth losing sleep over). Of course, as it stormed a little while I was gone, there were new changes to get used to. But really, it could have been a far worse day.
Probaby the worst thing was getting back on track with my running. I ran a 9:11 mile, but I was huffing more than usual at the end.
After winning a seemingly impossible game of pool, I fell from grace and lost two in an intended hurry (meaning they were non-quick games contrary to intention). But that's okay, because the usual champ was not only beaten by me of all people, but faced two (2) additional defeats thereafter. I'm thinking we should get him into a game of poker ASAP while his balance is off.
(ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...)
