Tuesday evening the kids and I went to see Blue's Clues Live! at the Civic Center Music Hall. The kids had a great time, but how hectic! One of Darby's classmates went with us, so it was me and the three girls, ages 5, 6, and 7! We had a couple of near disasters, but it all turned out well in the end. The show was good, but there were SO many kids there (in a nearly packed house... they're in OKC two nights only), making so many various noises, it was difficult to hear the performance at times. Of course, it doesn't help that we were at the VERY TOP row. I will say, though, that the fact that my itty-bitty five-year-old (Shelby) could see well from that high is a positive testament to the design of that facility. The downside? The price. That place ain't cheap. After the various fees that get piled onto the base ticket price, we were able to enjoy Blue's company for ninety minutes at the low low price of nineteen-fifty a head. Throw in beverage and souvenir costs and that's gonna leave a mark...
