The last few weeks have been busy busy busy. I've had more meetings at work than I know what to do with. It seemed there would be no good news in sight. Until, unsuspectingly, from a well maintained cool, dry place, came the best news of the year thus far... my Pearl Jam tickets are confirmed! I've been a fan club member for years and thought I screwed up supreme when I realized I had forgotten to renew my membership this past September. I got myself renewed, but it was a couple of days past the member-ticket deadline. Fortunately -- accompanied by immeasurable sighs of relief -- a kind soul at PJHQ let me slip in and I am enourmously greatful! Last time around (the Binaural tour) I had to drive down to Dallas, but my seats were Section 101 Row A (front row center), which was SO cool and made the trip worth it in all possible ways. This time, PJ is coming back to OKC (first time since 1993) and I will be there and up close! Only better yet, I will get to be in bed fifteen minutes after the show, rather than having to drive three hours back first...
