First Date

Darby went on her first parentally sanctioned "date" today. We're just talking three hours of shopping at the mall, so very tame. Things seem to have gone well. And, of course, I was "around", as Shelby and I also shopped, but stayed away from Darby and Mike.

I spoke with his mother pretty extensively before hand. He seems to be a good kid and seems to come from a good family. So, while I'm still a cautious dad (with access to firearms), I'm generally pleased thus far, as it could definitely be much worse.
