So, we went back to the mall today to take a closer look at the top two First Communion dress choices as decided between Shelby, myself, and her mother. And... we have a winner!
Now we have to get shoes, veil, etc... ugh. We tried to get shoes tonight, but that didn't go so well. The trouble is the dress selection is what I would call "sleek and elegant" in contrast with Darby's "frilly" dress a couple years ago. As such, "frilly" shoes, veils, and other accessories don't seem to go with this dress as well as they would have with Darby's. So our accesorizing will be more challenging than expected, all the more reason for us to have started sooner than we did. Bleh.
