An apology to my daughter

I scolded my daughter verbally on the phone yesterday while driving down to Abilene because she got sent to the principal's office for missing a sixth homework assignment during this quarter. She has missed five, but as it turns out, she had her homework done this time. A couple jealous classmates stole her homework, ripped it up, and threw it in the trash. She told me this yesterday, but I didn't believe her. I didn't think anyone would be that brazen. However, today, the kids fessed up, apologized, and wrote Darby a letter of apology. She was also given an apology from the principal. I will be thoroughly apologizing in person when I return.
