First solo

The girls had their customary church choir performance at Christmas mass this evening, during which Darby had her first solo (terribly-grainy-due-to-flash-avoidance photo is from shortly after the solo).



She was quite nervous about it, but did VERY well. Surprisingly well, actually. Had I not been visually observing and only listening, I might not have been able to tell it was my own daughter I had been listening to. Perhaps putting her in the honors choir at school wasn't a bad move.
