Real world irony
Today I went to an anti-terrorism security presentation. The presentation was in a rather tall building, and so I thought it was ironic that TWO security guards in the parking lot directed me to park in a particular place that was less than 40 feet from the front entrance of the building. Standard security convention calls for a 75 ft perimeter around buildings. So, had I been a bad guy and so inclined, I could have taken off the front of the building. Crazy. It's not that you can't have vehicles park that close. It's just that if you do, you should inspect them. You know, take five minutes, just to be sure.
