Overdue reunions

Fourteen and a half years ago my little brother was 1-year old, I had just graduated high school, and my sister last saw her grandmother. In fact, it was at my high school graduation in Philadelphia, which my grandmother from Arizona attended, that my sister last saw our grandmother. She's been busy since then, but has been no less concerned about grandma's health, so she agreed to join me here in Tucson for the holiday. I picked her up at the airport today, and the long overdue reunion with grandma went quite splendidly. The five of us (the kids and I, sis, and grandma) went to dinner to catch up on old times. Starting tomorrow we re-introduce Shawna to the rest of the family in the lead-up to Thursday festivities. Hopefully the next all-out reunion won't be so long in the making.
