My company is auctioning off outdated computer assets. I threw in a bid yesterday not figuring I'd get much out of it, but I learned this morning that I ended up winning (probably means I paid too much) an old Dell 550. Which is good because the kids' computers are P133s, which are still mostly viable (with Win98) for what they need them for, but one of them is having an issue right now, so it can just be replaced with the "newer" unit. Though it will need some work first.
I had what will hopefully be the last interview today with a candidate for my open position. Thank you to all those that applied. We looked at everyone closely and didn't just discount anyone. Now for the harder part... training the new person. Ugh.
