How on earth could I possibly beat the pool master three times straight at his own game? I'm stunned. Must be why I lost that next game.
Not pushing anymore since I reached my goal of a nine minute mile. Now I need to concentrate on extending my distance to 2-3 miles. Today I ran a 8:57 mile, then extended it to 1.25 miles. I didn't even note the time because I had intended to go 1.5 but had enough. Also I'm having strange just-below-the-knee pains when I walk, and it is probably attributable to my running, so I didn't feel like I should push it in general today.
